Answer» Under the WINDOWS Task Manager, when monitoring cpu usage, i've noticed is incredibly high. I only use my computer for administrative work (MS Office, not MUCH else) and mp3s. When just idly running programs, the level is around 12-15%. However, whenever I start a new program, it jumps to 100% for a COUPLE seconds then FALLING back to the former level. I am running a fast enough computer for this (1.1 GHz) and have 512K RAM. Any advice?? Jumping to 100% for a few seconds is nothing to be alarmed about, most programs will cause a spike like that when they start. If it remains at that level then you will need to INVESTIGATE that problem.You never did tell us which operating system you are using... [glb]Flame[/glb]
