Answer» I have had PROBLEMS since I downloaded Norton Anti-virus 2005. For the last 5 days, my COMPUTER would not shut down, and I had to "end task" until I could get it to do so. I decided to do a restore and went back to May 3rd, which was when I first installed Norton. Now I can no longer see anything when I go to to Control Panel screen, and--even worse--when I bring up the Help and Support screen, it stays blank (the LITTLE hourglass just sits there forever). I did a PC MightyMax scan and repair, so now some of the problems have been solved (at one point, every time I clicked on one of my desktop icons, it would TELL me that "explorer has caused an error in NAVSHEXE.DLL and will now close." I can finally right click on the icons, but still cannot see or access anything on control panel or help and support. Other screens are working fine. Help!i take it was trialware......uninstall norton nav.....try anti-prersonal- edition from majorgeeks.com......
