Solve : connection refused problems? |

Answer» I GET a lot of connection refused messages when trying to access websites. I have Win98, ZoneAlarm firewall, AVG antivirus and mostly use Mozilla FIREFOX and Yahoo. Any ades on how to get around this problem?What websites are these?The most recent connection refused was on Yahoo. I have on MyYahoo homepage the "Dummies tip" of the DAY and you get the BEGINNG of the tip but have to click to go to the site and get the full tip. It also happens on some sites when I search with Google. Remember, I use Firefox mostly and IE6 rarely. Thanks, ShadAre you firewalled?Disable any popup blockers and on the firewall options allow all.............win98 hates ie6/zone labs/avg..........NOTHING but problems.....and firebird does not solve them.............ie5.5 with tools/sygate/avir pe....works a treat........... |
