The wording on this made me wonder.Do they have it or,want
to know if the 200 is a good deal 'limited resources'....

Either WAY the £200 is a good deal for that setup in the UK.sorry for the confusion
i have this PC, recent acqusition.
im just trying out visual basic to make a program but its harder than it hought although im not going to give up!Hang in there boo...You'll get it. My goal is to get a Computer Science degree and begin a computer-created career, and hopefully get a nice place with my girlfriend. If possible, I'm going to try to get some kind of repair or support job (or any job, really) in the meantime so I can maybe make things happen a little sooner.Quote from: CBMatt on June 10, 2007, 07:24:49 PM

Great idea CBMatt my son worked in the field of computers
while he was getting a BS in Computer Science and Imformation
Technology. I hope you do well.

He now works for ProLogic developing software for the military.

http://www.prologic-inc.com/Home/index.aspMy goal is to get a good computer-related job, or just sort of do the same things by myself for money, so I don't actually have to work at a place and work by their rules.
Just over the summer, mind - then I'm off to college, where I'd LIKE to do well in the BTEC course in IT Support I have chosen.
then I'd like to GO to University and do a degree there.
From there, my goals regarding computers are to get a good IT-related job.

Oh, and boo - that's a good deal for £200, a very good deal.ye i thought so too. it was the best i could get for £200.

atm im trying to learn either command prompt or visual basic (who the *censored* put the BASIC there??)
as its my first language, its well 'ard although im trying my best.

im trying to make that program which will delete all the zero size files or folders on my comp as i posted in the software forum.
i ddnt realise that it would be so hard but i think if i do it, it will be a big achievement for me you know?
