Answer» Not sure it this is the right place but:
My computer refuses to wake up from SLEEP if it has been sleeping for more than a few seconds. It POWERS up, but that's as far as it gets; there is nothing on the monitor and the graphics card fan blows non-stop (it's supposed to stop after a few seconds). I have to power off and reboot for it to work again. I only have this problem for S3 (suspend to RAM). S1 works fine.

But I think I may have fixed it since I posted. Did a registry clean and I haven't had the problem since. Hope this helps OTHERS who are having similar problems.Spoke too soon. Problem's just started again. I also hear a high-pitched sound when my computer goes to sleep. Does this mean anything?
