Solve : computer shut down by itself? |
|
Answer» weeks ago my computer started shutting down on its own. I am running windows 2000 Pro. I ATTEMPTED several times to virus scan but it shutss down in the middle of the scan. I have looked at the event log and don't really understand what I am seeing. Code #'s or fault #'s. 10006,10009,6005,6006,6009,7001,7026,10010,17. Can you help me figure out what is going on?Will it do the same in safe mode? I did start it in safe mode and it didn't shut down but sometimes it will work for hours and not shutdown. And in the time that it does stay on, what are you not doing that you would do when it shuts down immediatly? What are your system specifications?
