I've seen computers with 600 Mhz CPU, 256 MB RAM, 25 GB HDD and similar specs being sold on ebay for over $100 dollars. Some people were actually dumb enough to buy them!!! It seems to be common on there. What do you think? I COULD build myself a much better newer computer for that price tag.In my stable i have a Compaq Presario 1810 ($25.00) with wifi and wireless router,etc using XP home with 64 MB ram (expandable to 96 max) . Molasses in JANUARY will run faster. But given at the time i only really wanted the WIFI ability it does a reasonably GOOD job on that for most things (not video of COURSE).truenorth |
