Answer» Hello and im sorry i didnt know where to post this Q i have to as any 1 with info to help me out.
Ok guy's other computer (not this 1) it is 1yr and 1month Old.
About 6 months ago ive started noticing pretty big problem's with it. It was keep crashing for no apparent reason with a blue SCREEN apperaing " saying windows has gotta shut down to prevent any long term damage" and after restarting my computer the screen wud reappear and not allow me to use the comp unless i rebooted the System in which i had to do.
anyhow. This kept HAPPENING Every 1 month even tho i was using Norton 2005 security so was thinkin cant be a virus of such sort?
But then these error's increasing started to be alot more frequent like every 1hr or 5hr or 24hr's. but this was different. a Blue screen did appoear but with Error's this time. 1 i remember said.
"KERNEL_INPAGE_SYSTEM_ERROR" and sorry we have to shut windows down etc etc. this screen stayed on for a mere 10sec's before it shut the computer down so i cudnt get a long enuf look to write all down.
It allowe dme back onto the computer without reformatting after about 30mins i ran a full virus scan and scanned all files with using norton and all was Clear. no error's of VIRUSES or such found.
I've had alot of help from friend saying restart the comp from best and last configuration start windows in safe mode and run (chkdsk) etc i cleared the fan's and check to see if it was causing the comp to over heat. and all seemed in working order. But these error's seem to Occur WHILST im playing games for the screen saver come's on. im thinkin CUD it be the graphic's card? it's only 1yr old tho? if not is there any other logical explination and what does KENERL_IN_PAGE_SYSTEM_ERROR?
thx all for ya time.
regardsI've never come across this error but seems likely your page file is being corrupted by a hardware problem. Here's a lot of info for you to browse thru', note that after changing the hard drive the problem disappeared for the O.P.
