Links removed by Calum - spam. If you are in doubt, I can PM you the links.Now...if you ask me...this is "SPAMMING".
Of course...nobody asked... I don't think it's spam. I think it's an awkwardly worded question. To me, he is asking which laptop is the best to get. piretx, can you clarify your question please?Calum...
Google "piretx" and tell me what you come up with...also...check out some of the posts on the other sites...date registered on these other forums...and I'm sure you'll agree with me after that..."spam".yes, spam disguised as a query. I've seen it before.
Right click on the links and you'll see they are personalized with numbers. I bet Piretx has signed up to a "get paid for spamming" scheme. Click on those links and he'll rack up money.
They should be edited or deleted.
He's all over various forums spamming for shredders, coupon sites, all sorts of stuff.
OK, I see your points. I'll remove the links now. piretx - read the rules, no spam allowed. One forum I was on, it may have been this one, the GUY posted "I can't get this website to open" in the web help section, and he spun it out for about 4 pages. Everybody was saying "It's all right from where I am", trying different browsers, quite clever really. He must have got dozens of hits. Does anyone know if the Administrator of this forum moderates new users?
...or should I be directing this to him? On my forum, I initially had it set that as soon as you completed registration, your account BECAME active...no moderation. I changed it so that a new user had to reply to a confirmation email and I would review the submission. I now just have them reply to the confirmation email. I may lose users that way, but it KEEPS the spamming to a minimum. When I joined I had to click a link in a confirmation email. On my board I have to have it set so that new users can post immediately because email is disabled, something I will take care of soon. On my old board, I had to approve new members. But on larger boards that becomes impossible because of the amount of users.Another option for this forum would probably be to install a CAPTCHA image when you register to prevent bots from registering and abusing the board.
