Answer» Hi,
I just got a blackberry and WENT to load the software onto my computer. The sofware installed, but it would not connect with the phone. I DECIDED to restart in case that was the issue. The computer would restart, but would not go further than showing my background picture - no icons or anythign showed up.
I've tried to restart in safe mode, it will LET me get to the screen where I can select it, and then a bunch of lines come across the screen and then it asks to press escape to stop loading sptd.sys and locks up there. the last line on the screen says: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\Windows\System32\Drivers\Mup.sys
I'm not sure what to do. I am on a friends computer right now. I've been meaning to backup my data for a while now and just haven't gotten to it. I really don't want to lose my data, there's too much on there.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
ThanksAt this point in time since data recovery is a priority i would hook up your DRIVE as a slave in a known working machine and back up anything you need... Once that is done Post back and we'll continue with the fixup process.
