Solve : Comp wont turn on? |

Answer» My Dell Inspiron 1150 wont turn on. Its power LIGHT fan and disk drive turn on, and a light flashes by a lock with and "A" in it. The screen stays black and after about 30 seconds everything shuts off. Can anyone help me?What is the HISTORY of the problem? What preceeded this? Is it still under warranty? Have you checked with Dell?it was an old comp from the company i WORK for and it wouldnt take charge from the charger they had, so it sat after the battery died and they upgraded to a differant model. I bought it and a new charger but it wont turn BACK on. It worked fine before the battery diedHard to believe, but some Dell's with a bad battery will not work even if connected to AC power. I had one like this (although not this model) and put a new battery in it and it worked immediately. I assume you have the proper AC adapter. |
