Well, this is it. I've been through over 20 websites before coming here for help, I've fully FULFILLED the ask google checks.

I found an old VIC 20, and i'm PROBABLY deluding myself into thinking thatir works, but i am feeding it the correct voltages into the 7 pin DIN plug and when i turn it on i get the red light.

Thats it.

It won't do anything more.

I have tried every possible combination of the 2 video and ground pins in the audio/video plug into my RCA slots on my tv, and I just can't get anything apart from one of two things to happen:
1. I'll get a nice shade of blue replacing the black my tv has when it has no input.
2. I'll get a lovely pattern of wavy lines coming out.

Now, NUMEROUS sites say i can directly plug the video low out and the ground into the RCA video plug on any tv, and i only need the commodore vic 20 rf modulator if i want to turn the composite output into a RF wave for the arial jack.

Any ideas?

I even tried plugging in just the audio through the whole system, then typing in the 4 POKE commands that make the blasted machine ouput sound, but nothing is coming out.

Of course, what i'm probably in denial about is that the stupid thing is just broken, but i love being optimistic
