Answer» Every time I retart computer the color quality goes BACK to 8 bit. I have tried to UPDATE drivers, but computer tells me they are all up to date. I have to go to display settings every time and change from 8 bit to 32 bit and everything is fine until I shut down and restart. Pleeeeze help, really annoyingMore info on the PC; what OS ;the vid card if applicable and what happened prior to this and someone will be along shortly...Dell inspiron 1100 w/ windows XP HOME editionNothing unusual happened, I have spybot but it has no EFFECT on this problem. I've tried to do system restore but to no avail.Where did you update yor drivers ? ? I hope not thru Windows. Dell's are very finicky about drivers... Travel to Dell's site...enter your service tag # from the back of the machine and dload and re-install the PROPER drivers... Remember to re-boot after doing so.Thanks very much I will try that.
