Solve : COD 4 problem! help please? |

Answer» The other day i uninstalled COD4 for my PC (windows vista), i tried REINSTALLING it, but when i PUT the CD in the drive, the game menu COMES up, and it says uninstall. But i already uninstalled it? and when i click uninstall, nothing happens? I looked and i have no COD4 files on my comp, unless i didnt look everywhere. can you please help me figure out how to reinstall it!!How did you uninstall it? Through control panel? Or did you just delete the folder where the game was installed? Get the slim version of ccleaner. Run the registry cleaner and also look for CoD4 in the "TOOLS" section, if you find it there select it and click on "delete entry". Then try installing the game again.To uninstall it i clicked start, then right click the icon thing, and did it that wayWhat icon thing? The shortcut to the game? If it was just the folder in the start menu, you didn't uninstall the game..... Go to control panel>programs and features and uninstall it from there. |
