I've found that whenever there is a thread where the last poster is an EX-Member with a presumably removed account or such, the thread's last post column reads - Ex-Member. When I try to open the thread, I get an error.

For an example of this, check out the "More Changes" thread in the Computer News forum.i think its all went to pot because i haven't been able to do anything for like 5 days! lol


R0SSI've seen Dilbert's "bug" a few times. It may be that the thread originator deleted the first post, thus the thread.

Ross, try logging out and log back in. Everything should go back to normal. That 'stay logged in for keeps' on the main page doesn't keep you logged in for keeps.Did you e-mail Nathan about it YET?

FlameI haven't heard back from him about a different kind of Email I sent him (a request) so I'm not going to bother Emailing him until I get a definite reply. Anyhoo, I was trying to look up what post = what rank, because I was curious. But it's interesting to note that the Admin wouldn't have deleted his first post, and PEOPLE delete posts all the time. So what probably happened is that an Ex Member got a post removed and CH glitched the thread on the mod/admin. Just a thought.That's the only issue with this new YaBB! Software. It's buggy. I liked the old version more as far as stability. For features and looks however, this new version is best. Every once in a while a bug will show itself. It shouldn't be too hard to fix. I bet the permissions are just messed-up with the whole Ex-Member thing. This is the first time we've ever had Ex-Members by the WAY. Back on the old forum, if you didn't want to be a part of CH, you just let your account sit there. Becuase this is the first time we have Ex-Members, it's almost plain to see that we will have one or two bugs here and there. Can't be hard to fix though.

FlameNah, but someone has to do it. It's too bad I didn't get the files for Invision PowerBoard earlier, or we never would have upgraded to another PHPBB forum. IPB is much more stable. I had a PHPBB forum once... Buggy as could be...
