Solve : Certain video players freeze computer? |
|
Answer» Please help, I desperately need access to certain videos for school and this problem will not go away. I may not have Genuine Windows if that matters. It may. Also I should note RealPlayer, which doesn't ask to authenticate windows, doesn't work. Last thing (if anyone cares), audio files using WMP and QT work fine, it's just the videos that kill it.See, if VLC Player will work.VLC won't work either. If fact I just downloaded it and tried to play a video and the Windows Task Manager didn't even come up when I tried. So I just reset the computer to GET it running again. You reinstalled Windows?I've been asking around and someone told me to download drivers for my video card. (This may seem obvious to some of you, but I didn't know to do this) That fixed the problem, every video player works fine now. Thank you Broni for replying. Very well. |
