Answer» I know if I put File into my CD Writer I can just USE win XP pro to Burn the CD.
I just go to File then Writ to CD.
But how do I get it to Burn the CD till it is Full and then spit it out and ask for another to put the leftover Files on to??Does anyone know how to Span CD when you Burn them??Hey Nymph, I thot you'd found how to use GOOGLE...
http://www.google.co.nz/search?hl=en&q=spanning+cd%27s&meta=We read you! No need to say it again! Why not just get a DVD burner instead of a CD burner? Lots more space. You can find a UTILITY somewhere that is used for spanning. It creates compressed blobs o' data that will fit into a CD. The you have to use that program again to un compress the blobs o' data and put into a folder of whatever.
People use to do this with a big stack floppy discs. Three months later one of the floppy discs un duz itself and the whole set is near useless.
Oh Oh, somebody else just gave a better answer. I Think.Soory that is what I have.
I have a DVD Burner and it is a DL Burner.
I was looking for FREE Disk Spanning program.
All I find is programs that have a lot of things I will never use. And it ends up not being free??I found a program at http://www.deepburner.com/?r=download
Please tell me someone USES this program???
When I ad my Folder I want to Burn and then Click Burn it says Writing in prograss.
And then says compleate and spits the disk out.
And ware it says Burn Multi Disk Session I pick NO.
So I know it closses the sesson.
But when I check the disk there is no Folder on it and I can use the disk again so that tells me there is Data on it.
Please helpAnyone?? There e mail does no work. You can do a Google on 'file spanner' and get lots of hits. So you could use that to breakup up a large block in clunkds taht would fit onto CDs. Of course, you need enough hard drive space as a work area to put it together again. Most Good burning apps do this automatically...i use CDBurnerXPro.
