Answer» i have an hp pavillion a335w with a sony cd-rw crx215e5 that does not recognize any cds. i have uninstalled and REINSTALLED and it still doesnt WORK. please help Sometimes they just die, like all electronic components. There is a reason the warranty is only a year or less on these things. How OLD is yours? Luckily a new DVD is only about $40 delivered.
