Solve : CAT6 cable length adapter?? |

Answer» I currently have a wireless home network. I installed Linux Xandros onto a hard drive and installed it into my sons computer. Unfortunalty, after some researching, no Linux OS's are currently wireless adaptable. Even though I currently have the router in a lower HEIGTH location than it should be because of the cable length, it still works, but I want it back into a higher location. Is there some kind of adapter that will connect to the rj45 connector so ADDITIONAL cable can be added to it? I currently have a wireless home network. Iandmillions of OTHERS do so without incident.SOme wireless adapters are harder that others to get to WORK because of the Windows monopoly, but Xandros has great hardware support. It is better to use an intact cable of the correct length. Radio SHack has adapters for everything,though, if you must. |
