Solve : cant get past the black screen?

1.	Solve : cant get past the black screen?
Answer» Ok here is what is going on. I was tinkering around on my computer, and disconnected the hard DRIVE. Reinstalled the THING and it give me Windows has not STARTED properly and the option of seleting safe mode and etc. I tried all the available options and the screen just goes black. sometimes i GET "mutli(0) disk(0)partition(1)windows\system32\drivers\" I tried going to advanced option and still get the same thing. any help would be appreciated Was the power on when you started tinkering ? ? What OS? Any bent pins ? Clik Here...I was running Windows XP sp2. no bent pins and the power was off.
