Answer» Hello all,
I have been having problems with firefox lately. Occasionally when I try to log on, I get the message that the mozilla cannot locate the server(my home page is yahoo). I have contacted my ISP and have been told my SIGNAL is strong. I did recently connect a linksys router(used to have Netgear..............what a mess!). Could it be the router settings??? anyway....................as a last resort I have decided to try uninstalling firefox and reinstalling. I have tried to uninstall from my add/remove programs and it will not LET me. Is there any other way to uninstall it? ..........and why will it not let me do so from the add/remove screen?
Sorry for rambling on hopefully SOMEONE can help
Thanks What do you mean by "it won't let me"?Broni,
I should have been more specific..............I when I click on "remove" in the add/remove programs, nothing HAPPENS.
My OS is Windows XP Home.
jlaak5...
Have you tried the Revo Uninstaller?
http://www.revouninstaller.com/Yahoo has been having issues the past 3 or 4 days... If it's only been happening since then the issue is on yahoo's end.Aha...
