Solve : Cannot open Pen Drive?

1.	Solve : Cannot open Pen Drive?
Answer» When i put in my usb pendrive my computer picks it up. After I insert the pen drive in the port, there is a sound. But there is no way to open it. In my computer it is not there (but it is). But I have tried this with another computer and it opened. Can anyone help me ? Thanks. P.S. Although there is a post almost similar to my PROBLEM, it doesn't solve my problem. Yes I restarted the computer.With the drive in the other machine burn/copy the data to save it. Then format the pendrive in Disk Management and copy a small .txt file to it when it's done... Now plug it in to the laptop and see if you can open the .txt file.

When I plug it in, a sound comes out from the laptop and that's it. Nothing happens after that. I have no way to view the files kept in it or save in it. I have tried different ports, but nothing works now. Till yesterday it worked fine.

Yes I restarted the computer.With the drive in the other machine burn/copy the data to save it.
Then format the pendrive in Disk Management and copy a small .txt file to it when it's done...
Now plug it in to the laptop and see if you can open the .txt file.
