Solve : cannot burn cd?

Answer»

when i try to burn a cd it keep saying there is no disk when there is a disk in. i have tried putting in a new cd.using windows xp pretty sure they will request more information.burner model, burner program , type of DISC ect.........Is the disk that you are trying to burn have anything on it? If if is empty, you might need to format it before you can access it.

If it does have something on it, should you be burning it...?What happened before this started?
How old is the drive?
Add those to the above questions.
I'll hold off moving this until we find out what sort of problem this is.
Actually, I'll move it to "Other" for now.Right click on the problem drive, the go to properties. begin tapping the F8 key this should get you to the safemode option.

If you get there choose'Last Known Good Configuration' from your options.

See website below for more on this.

This sometimes happens to me, and I find that you have to format it with Nero (or something else, haven't done this in a while). Then again, your problem may be different but you could always try that. There is a program you can run called..
