Answer» Hi, I was having trouble launching and editing application setings in Win 2000 PRO, so I edited local security policy settings for the OS (I allowed all FEATURES to be allowed for the ADMINSTRATOR). When the computer restarted, I get the following massage:
"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively."
On top of that, I can't login with my old password.
So I'm basicaly stuck at the login PROMPT. And I am supposed to be the administrator!
Any and all help is welcome, thanks in advance.budbud83.....Have you tried rebooting into safe mode ? What changes did you actualy make ?
dl65 There are many password recovery or reset tools AVAILABLE such as the ones here. NT isn't that secure!
