Answer» About a month AGO my Win Defender was missing also Win updates STOPPED working also. tried all the online fix tutorials and NOTHING has worked so in desperation did a Windows repair (Win 10) and now can`t install ANY ANTIVIRUS software it is only Antivirus exe that won`t install, all other Exe software installs,and get error message (see pic) Thanks. https://imgur.com/4d9POGzHas your computer slowed down RECENTLY? I had a similar problem a few years ago and it turned out to be a virus, luckily I had an old Norton Antivirus CD which scanned the computer before installing and removed the virus. Try installing the Antivirus program in safe mode, as safe mode should stop the malware from loading.Thanks in Safe Mode did the trick...Cheers
