Answer» Hi all. I'm RUNNING Windows XP SP1, the version that I purchased with my machine (not PIRATED), and I'm trying to INSTALL updates and SP2. When I click on Windows Update in the Control Panel, I get an error message that the page can't be displayed. When I connect directly to microsoft.com, click on Updates, and choose Express Install, it searches for about 3 or 4 minutes, then returns the following error message: Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page. Spyware and Virus checks are all negative. I have high speed internet, and no problems elsewhere on the web. Any suggestions? Press F8 whilst booting to DISCOVER this option.
