Solve : Can't get into Apple or Ebay sites? |

Answer» For some REASON I can't get on to Ebay or Apple sites. This is a recent thing. I have all updates from Windows and the latest Java. However, I did download the AOL SECURITY settings and am wondering if a setting may of changed. Any ideas?Has the problem appeared directly after installing/configuring the AOL security settings? Or were you able to access eBay and the Apple sites with your AOL Web browser before the recent installation? I can get on the Ebay and Apple sites using AOL or Yahoo but not google or msn. I deleted the AOL security package but it doesn't make any difference. Must be a MSN browser problem. Thank you all for your help.You may wish to try the following: 1. Start 2. Settings 3. Control Panel 4. Internet Options 5. Security tab 6. Reset all security zones to Default And/or 1. Start 2. Settings 3. Control Panel 4. Internet Options 5. Advanced 6. Restore Defaults button. Tried all of the suggestions including the reset but still no joy unless I use AOL.Are you using any pop-up stoppers. what broswer are you using .firefox has issuses blocking certain sites....check firewall settings...you have or the software has blocked apple/mac surprise! what does ping tell you......cmd c:\windows\my documents\users type ping www.apple.com it should report packets sent packets lost.....you may need to AD this sites>google or msn to your security sites in your browser.......maybe aol WANTS the cake and eat it. Its clear as mud.....she said.... |
