Answer» When the grand kids wanted to play on line games (checkers and backgammon) I got a message with 0x80041006 as a reason I can't open. Googliong that only got me a bunch of paid for adds to correct registry. That's the exact same page I got. But everyone of those ADDRESSES leads to some kind of 'scam' program WANTING us to spend plenty to cure 'registry errors' that we didn't know about.That's not what I see. Got evberything going Ok by simply rebooting windows. Probably a problem with the hard drive eh?I wouldn't think the hard drive, but whatever - as long as you're up and running....
