Answer» Hi All
While installing an old copy of Corel Word, it also installed an Inbox on my desktop. I think this is Microsoft Messenger.
Can ANYONE tell me how to get rid of it. It doesn't show up in msconfig's startup listing and I can't find the "exe" file which launches it. Clicking on "properties" only launches it.
OS = Windows 98 SE
Thanks in ANTICIPATION ....Hiya,
I can't see any inbos at my desktop. what's the reason? Hi
1. There is no "delete" AVAILABLE when right-clicking on the icon 2. It can't be dragged to the Recycle Bin (just pops BACK to where it was) 3. There is nothing in the ADD/REMOVE listings 4. A search of my HD only shows my Outlook Express Inbox
(sigh) reboot-pc and try to delete it again.

I think it is a Network messaging PROGRAM ... I can't access the "properties" of this icon - it launches a settings window when I try.
Quotereboot-pc and try to delete it again.
It has been on my desktop for about 4 days now (and through several re-boots)Google for KillBox.exe
