Solve : Can not print Adobe documents?

Answer»

Hello Forum: I have Dell Dimension 2400 with WindowsXP SP2. Still using IE6.0. Never had a print problem before. Using two printers. A Lexmark Z43 and a Dell mini laser jet depending on the quality I want. I have always been able to print off the WEB or from my documents anything that was Adobe pdf. Now all of a sudden I can not print Adobe documents either off the web or from my saved documents. I now get a dialog box which asks for an 'Output File Name' and get two options: OK or Cancel. Never saw this before. What should I do. I hit cancel because I am not sure what file they are asking for. I can print any Word Perfect documents that are in My Documents but nothing Adobe. Never had this before. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksTry this.
In ACROBAT reader select 'File' and then 'Print Setup...'
In the drop down menu make sure your printer is selected.

Does this solve your problem?Have you saved the files as is and given them a filename ? ?Hello Forum: Thanks for replies to my post. I am going to try the Printer Setup in the Adobe drop down menu. Did not do before since I had not CHANGED anything. But I should have checked it first. I will get back with the results. Thanks again, all. I checked Printer Setup in Adobe drop down file menu and made sure my two printers were listed. Both are. I can now print the adobe documents. Thanks for the help. Some things are so obvious sometimes that you just don't see them. Thanks again. I know it's FIXED but Google for FOXIT, it will put a big smile on your face.Quote from: Fed on July 23, 2007, 03:52:55 PM
