Solve by the method of elimination(i) 2x-y 3; 3x + y 7

Add eq(1) and eq(2)

5x = 10x = 2

Put value of x = 2 in eq(1)2*2 - y = 3y = 4-3y = 1

Therefore x = 2, y = 1
