=> 2x = - 3y

=> x = - 3y/2 -------(1)

We have , 3X + 4Y = 5

Substituting (1) in above equation

=> 3(-3y/2) + 4y = 5

=> - 9y/2 + 4y = 5

=> ( - 9y + 8y ) / 2 = 5

=> - y = 10

=> y = - 10 <<<<<<< Answer

Using y in (1)

=> x = - 3(-10)/2

=> x = 15 <<<<<<<<< Answer
