Answer» I am buying a used Dell Latitude D610 NOTEBOOK with very little use. It has Windows XP Home Edition on it. It is registered to the previous owner and I am wondering if I need to purchase another copy of XP to put back on it and register it my self. If I don't, is there any consequence to it? I will be installing other software I own and registering that stuff in my name. It runs perfect now, but I am willing to do this to be legal and all. ALSO, will XP recognize or go find all of the drivers for the touch pad, dvd-rom, wireless network card...etc. ThanksProbably the best advice i can give you WOULD be to call one of MS's 800 #'s and ask them the specifics...
