Answer» I am having great difficulty in DOWNLOADING pictures from my digital camera to the PICTURES folder in Windows 8. I just cannot figure out how this JOB is done! Secondly, once I manage to download the pictures to the PICTURES folder, how to put them (is burn them the correct expression?!) on a cd? I use Firefox, Windows 8 and a ACER laptop. Please try and give me step by step clear instructions, if it is not too much of a bother,as I am continually frustrated with changes made to websites! Moreover, as an oldage PENSIONER, I do not learn new "tricks" easily... Many thanks from GUZEPPIDon't bother with CD's, get a USB flash drive. It acts much LIKE a hard drive (or the old floppy disks), i.e. cut copy & paste files & folders. Have you done this with older versions of Windows? The procedure with Windows 8 is basically the same as with Windows 7. Are you using File EXPLORER to copy pictures from your camera card to the Pictures folder?
