Answer» I recently built a new Pc and some utility people were WORKING on something down the street and KNOCKED the power out. My computer RESTARTED fine but the system clock was a few years off. Is something not right? I think I was getting some messages that said something about cmos not having enough power or something like that.You should be ABLE to set the system clock back by entering the BIOS. The CMOS is supplied by its own power source, unless the battery has become depleted, it can not have either too much or too LITTLE power for it to work properly.type time after the msdos/cmd prompt
