i regularly scanning my pc with
(spyware)Ad-watch & Zonelabs,
(anti-virus) AVG & Kaspersky
(cleaner) Advance System Optimizer & RegistryFix
everytime i boot, i takes 2 to 3 minutes :-? before i can it properly
does it normal? do i need adjust something? do i need something to install a software?infoseeker..... How much ram do you have installed ?
What speed processor do you have ?
How many running processes do you have ?
How fast is your shutdown ?

How often do you clean out all the redundant stuff from your machine ?

what does it mean? (im sorry i have not much knowledge with pc)
We had a thread about this some time AGO & if I remember correctly 2-3 minutes to boot was about average.
PS, don't have 2 AV programs running at the same time.Mine takes ages too man and i have a Gig of RAM and a 2.6Ghz Processor.
It sucks!

try to check your pc with anti-virus and spyware
and as FED said, dont run 2 AV at the same time
and try this, download CClean and install it (dont run yet)
go to safe mode and run CClean
restartSPEED UP XP BY 25-50%

2)right click my computer>propertys>advanced tab>click PERFORMANCE settings button>
uncheck anything with fade,animation,slide,and use visual styles on buttons>apply and
ok
3)click start>control panel(classic mode)>double click network connections>right click your
connection>celect propertys>uncheck "client for ms network",file and printer sharing,and QoS packet
scheduler>click ok
4)reboot
Igot 20ish% doing this; To get faster i will have to down load TweekNow powerpack

restart It's CCleaner, not CClean. I AGREE with the recommendation; it's a very good maintenance tool.get rid of the pentium and swap it with a AMD athlon 64 i run an asus A8N32 Sli deluxe MOTHER board with 1 GB or RAM a Athlon 3500+ and my xp boots in less than 20 secondsBoot time is irrelevant. i use Linux which takes LONGER to boot BUT it tkeeps running without crashing or needing to reboot, even when drivers are added or programs loaded.
