Answer» Hello guys, i have windows xp installed on my laptop. i asked a FRIEND to INSTALL linux fedora for me. so now i have xp and linux installed on my laptop but i dont want it anymore..what is the best way to un-installing it? Thank you for your attention For this you will need: Your Windows XP CD Partition MANAGEMENT software of your choice (like Partition Magic) 1) Boot to Windows 2) Delete Linux partition(s) with whatever partition software 3) Reboot COMPUTER, booting from Windows XP CD 4) Choose recovery/repair 5) TYPE "fixmbr", which should clear the GRUB/Lilo boot menu and restore Windows as the only OS |
