Answer» heres the thing my sister had given me her old laptop TOSHIBA, the thing is that the battery charges but only last for half hour so I have to plug it in and use wall power. The thing is that the laptop gets really warm which i'm gusseing it cause the battery is over chargeing. is that a bad thing or anythingThe laptop probably gets warm because it is being used....and is old.....
The simple thing would be to remove the battery when plugged in, wouldn't it?...or replace the battery, if it only holds a full charge for a half-hour.thats what i figured the only thing is that I have to figure out what I need to figure out what all I need to get a new one. What model number is this Toshiba?were do I find that?OK new QUESTION, how old is it?its about four years give or take. Its a celeron mI don't know, but the battery my STILL be re-orderable.
Four years is an awfully long TIME in terms of computers. Why do you want it? Heck, why do you want to make it PORTABLE?
I have an old Dell Inspiron 4000. It's portability is shot completely. It's battery has lost the will to live. I keep it here to experiment with new software.cause there is no funds to get a new one and we spent 2,100 between the two of them.Squall...
If you carefully look at the laptop, probably the bottom, you'll find the model number/serial number.I see every thing such as the windows key and such but not that. What Manufacturer?
