Answer» Ok I acknowledge my stupidity - somehow Tails GOT onto my PC [I did use a USB stick,] and I expect you peeps know what ensued, chastise me - I deserve it. But in the long long run - PLEASE SAVE MY SANITY & COMP, beggingly PLEASE. No idea what you are talking about or asking.May I enlighten you both: - 'Tails always starts from the same clean state and everything you do disappears automatically when you shut down Tails."So it's malware?? Okay, I'm moving this to the correct sub-forum.Uh... disconnect the USB stick and reboot? Tails is a specialized DISTRIBUTION of Linux that works the way you described. If you somehow ignored the warnings it gives and installed it to your hard drive then you will need to reinstall Windows or do a factory reset (if the RECOVERY partition(s) are still intact). I agree with B.C Programmer that you will need to do a factory reset. |
