Solve : avast av?

Answer»

i use avast free , and i was on the web going to a cinema site to see what was on and within about 2 seconds avast stopped the site saying it had a trojan , how is it possible for it to know in such a short time periodWell, it simply can.  Why ask that question?  Just be glad that it identifies websites with trojans.

The speed is probably attributable to the fact that avast! sees the data COMING from the website before the web PAGE is actually displayed by your browser.  That's a good thing.  If the detection was delayed until after the page had been displayed, that would PRESENT a more hazardous situation.  So, fast detection is a good thing. thanks soybean , it's just the speed of it that took me aback and as you say avast can see the trojan before it's even on SCREEN , so all or most av's act with the same speed
