Answer» Hello SOUND is cutting out for a moment on both headphones and speakers, first a POP, then programs will LAG, then audio returns. I have TRIED updating reinstalling audio DRIVERS, I have also done a reset. Worried the issue is hardware and not sure what to try next.Is this on a desktop or laptop? If on a desktop, you could try a PCI-e sound card. If on a laptop (desktop too) you could use a USB sound card dongle. Does the periodic lagging also occur when there is no music playing? If so, it probably is hardware.
