I've had my asus tf101 for about 15 months, and never had a problem with it. Yesterday i realised it wouldn't turn on i thought it had stopped completely but i could vaguely see my background if i shone a LIGHT on the SCREEN. I can see that my touch screen is working, i can hear all the noises and iv tried pulling it apart and reconnecting the cable ( YOUTUBE video steps) and also tried holding the power and low volume key down. But still nothing!!!
Is there anything else i should try? please help

AvaaYour backlight or inverter has bitten the dust. I'm not familiar with the internals of the TF101, so I'm unsure if these can be replaced separately or WHETHER the screen as a whole must be replaced. Is it still under warranty?
