Answer» Ah, Oh my god NOOOO!!!!
Apple took away my iPhone from any access during install of iTunes!
Luckily I had it plugged in to charge, otherwise I wouldn't notice it now and later I would've thought a package I installed disabled USB File Access, it seems when Installing what happened was, I went back into the 'Computer' menu after the iPhone whined, (It made the beep it was plugged in and charging, even though it was already plugged), and Guess what? my Apple iPhone was gone!!!
What kind of company re-routes your PC's registry so their own software is only accessible via their own software?
I've tried PhoneViewer Demo recently on my Mac machine, (crummy iTunes, still on there) and luckily it... worked!!! I was able to browse the whole file system, too! :d
Only though now on my Windows PC it's going to be heck-in-a-basket to try to access my Photos, videos, etc from my iPhone... anyone know of a solution? This is just sad... really it is...
I've ALSO (for the own heck of it, in desperate attempt to bypass crummy crApple); installed this new excellent tool called 'iPhone Explorer' for Windows, works like a charm, seemingly more access than before, though I know a friend who uses a PC also, and another advanced program, looked to me the same program he used for FTP'ing, so he must've FTP'd into his (also) jailbroken iPhone, meh, FTP isn't my kind of thing...
Anyways, it's sad to see a company could do such a thing like this, it almost seems like a delicious CONSPIRACY, anyone agree?
Also, alas upon opening iTunes, guess what? I seem to be very unlucky as my iPhone isn't showing... at all... Nothing from it. -And I just downloaded the latest version of iTunes, and it's asking me to update-update what? Right...
sigh... Please don't delete this thread, it isn't spam really I'm asking for HELP here....please? Please move this to software or somewhere else, just noticed this is the wrong section. http://www.buzzle.com/articles/who-owns-your-mobile-phone.html

what? the only reason you need a certain program is because despite the clear fact that it could, the iPod/iPhone/iWhatever's don't act like a standard USB class driver-able device, like say, a sane MP3 player or phone might- nope, they are basically just a "device" that can only be communicated with using a proprietary protocol which has been reverse-engineered by a few applications (Winamp has plugins that do so).
As for the rest of your post, I've grown tired of trying to tease your assumptions and suppositions from what actually happened.

I actually somewhat agree with Allan now, this thread is getting immature...
