I usually use the Enter key or the space bar.

DEFINITION: Any key: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A button would be something you click with the mouse like a URL.I mostly use enter, but if it says it somewhere not in a batch file (like in linux or somewhere weird) I SOMETIMES press a random letter just to test it lol  I usually hit the space bar.

Facepalm...
Quote from: Wikipedia
There are REPORTS that some users have searched for such a key labelled "any", and called technical support when they have been unable to find it.[2] The computer company Compaq[3] even edited their FAQ to explain that the "any" key does not exist,[4][5] and at one point considered replacing the command "Press any key" with "Press return key".[6]
I find that just as depressing...I have actually had one of these calls at the helpdesk, the person was looking for the "any" key.  After trying to explain for about 2 minutes I just told them to press the space bar.
They then wanted to know why the SYSTEM told them to press "the any key" and not the space bar....
