Solve : Annoying Error Messages?

Answer»

Nah I'm not. Yeah it's fine I just don't know why the msconfig settings won't stay. I get a message which makes no sense and I have no OPTION but to agree to it and that's what resets the settings. Can't remember what it says though....I would SAY that the best thing to do is to re-partition and FULL format the drive then re-install everything as it should be. When all is done make a drive image to restore with and then, barring hardware FAILURE, you can't go wrong.Woaft, that sounds LIKE a lot of hassle just to get some silly error messages away. It does bug the *censored* out of me everytime I start-up though so it will probably be worth it. If that's my only option then I guess it has to be done.

Thanks.7 minutes was very fast to carry out 2 online scans.

Famous last words.

That message sounds like the standard message Windows puts up if you run in SELECTIVE startup mode.
Change it again & tell us what the message says?Yeah indeed they are, well I've not noticed any horrific problems so far. I'm at college the now so I'll have to do it later but I'll keep in touch.Good luck Dudley.

Safeguarding your system is best done with a drive image ... every time.Drive image? How did you know that was my name?
