Just posting here to try get some advice, so thanks in advance
Well my laptop is over 5 years old, and i need to buy a new COMPUTER STAT! I work from home as a storyboard artist/animator and basically need a computer that will have the power to do what is expected in my job.
I use programmes
Photoshop
Illustrator
Flash
Premier
After Effects
3d max

I found this computer on the komplett site, and it seems pretty good to me, although im not 100% sure about graphic cards, so if that isnt up to scratch theres no point getting this computer.

Thanks in advance GUYS I am not qualified to answer your basic question re the best possible computer for creating animation. Howevr doing some researh on your behalf i came aross this article and thought it might help you (even beyond the computer choice).

Keep in mind that the computer you linked comes with a 64-bit operating systems. I don't know what your old laptop had, but you'll want to make sure any programs you're going to install will run on a 64-bit machine or have a 64-bit version available.

Anyway, I don't expect you'll have any serious problems.My laptop runs on 32 bit operating system, so ALOT of the adobe programmes DONT work LIKE premiere and after effects..
But thanks for the links, just when im spending this type of money i want the computer to have at least a few years life!All of those Adobe Apps have 32 bit versions.
