Answer» I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to animate a single desktop icon. I downloaded and installed Spyware Blaster unpaid version) onto a friend's pc (Win XP Home ED) and would like to find a way to REMIND her to manually update the definitions for it. I THOUGHT if I could animate the icon for S'ware Blaster, say every 4-5 hrs. or so, she might take the hint to check for new DEFINITION updates at least once a wk. I didn't know if this is possible to do, or if someone out there has a more obvious way to remind her to ck. for new defs. occasionally. Not afraid to dabble in RegEdit if that's what it takes. Download it. Then, go to the Desktop, right click Spyware Blaster and choose Properties. Choose the Shortcut tab, then Change Icon. You can then BROWSE to the icon you downloaded. When finished click Okay.
