Solve : android?

Answer»

If I have a question regarding android OS is there a proper PLACE to POST this? If there is a proper place please kindly direct me. Should this be posted under bsd, Unix, and Linux?

Thanks.

MikeThis is as good a place as any. What's your question?Thank you Allan for the quick reply.

I just GOT an Asus transformer pad tf700t, it is running ice cream sandwich (android 4.0.3)

My problem is that I can't find a WAY to send existing files or folders to the home screen. I am only able to create shortcuts to apps or create folders on the home screen by dragging two shortcuts together, but have no option to move existing files or folders to the home screen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

MikeI'm not familiar with that device, but I can tell that on both my iPad and my Razr Maxx (Android) cell phone, I can drag the icon to the edge of the screen and wait a second or two, and it will move to the NEXT screen.Found an answer on the XDA forums. ES file manager has this option, downloaded it and worked perfectly. Quote from: giardmi09 on October 03, 2012, 11:56:31 AM

Good choice and highly recommended!

Been using ES tools for a while now. They update regularly and if you want a new feature added the devs are always willing to listen and if it can be done they do it.
