i tried to install aim on my computer but while it was doing it to errors came up they said:

a required .DLL file C:\windows\system\mscvrt40.DLL was not found


and the other one said:

cannot find file   C:\progra~1\aim\aolond.exe

what do i do?The INSTALLER may be corrupt. Try redownloading or reinstalling it.thnx i got it working but now imtrying to link my screen names and its saying i need to enable my cookies and java and my cookies thing is enable and how do i enable java?do you have java installed?  If so...there is probably a NEW version...i do have the new java i got it like a month or 2 agoit says enable javascriptit says enable javascriptI do not quite understand the link between Aim and Javascript. This is instant messaging software, is it not?YES it ISARE you running the installer by clicking save file as or by clicking run.saveIf you are saving the installer it should be working.  Have you tried downloading it from a different source?  Try downloads.comif you use INternet Explorer go to
Tools/advanced and check box use Java and enable all checkboxes saying Java.
For Mozilla Firefox is
Tools/options/web features
and there enable Java.
