Solve : Adtran/Netvanta Routers?

Answer» HI,

I work for a large government organization, as radio technician. What I am currently trying to do is route several sites (Radio towers, microwaves, etc...) together, in a way that I can access the main control point from any given site.

Currently, I'm using the Adtran Netvanta 3200 series routers (2 per site) and a Netgear switch (1 per site) to make this POSSIBLE. The problem I am having LIES below.

(1) The Netvanta 3200 series router seems to have an issue where it will forget it's assigned IP address, any time you edit anything or even save configuration. I've tried to configure and save both in Telnet (Hyper Terminal) and/or a web based GUI.

(2) Though the configuration is thought to be completed, as far as IP assigning, bridging, interfacing, etc... It is proving me wrong by it's inability to ping the other remote routers setup with a similar configuration.

While problem (1) seems to be the priority, both are equally as concerning. If any of you have any ideas or experience with either of the above, I'd love to hear them. If you need any more information, PLEASE feel FREE to ask.

I have, without luck, tried to research the common user problems with said routers before posting.

Thank you,
Robbie
